Smile – the joyful seating collection

Seating and stacking performance with a distinct identity

One chair family, one clear idea: to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere through a distinctive and instantly recognisable design language — for spaces where people come together, from waiting areas and dining halls to libraries and other communal environments.

The characteristic line of the backrest and seat, inspired by the simple gesture of a smile, gives the chair its unique identity. This positive expression is consistently carried through all variants, creating a coherent visual language across the entire product family.

Designed for manufacturability from the very beginning, Smile is based on a reduced, material-conscious construction. It combines efficient use of materials with comfort, stability and long-lasting durability. Excellent stackability, a robust structure and easy-to-maintain surfaces make Smile particularly well suited to high-traffic environments.

Combined with wooden elements and a vibrant colour palette, Smile takes on a warm, inviting character that brings a more residential quality to professional spaces.

For us, this interplay of emotion, performance and longevity is what human-centred design is all about: design based on people.
