BODW Hongkong 2011

In 2011 Germany has been invited as partner country to the design conference Business of Design Week (BODW) in Hongkong.

Themed „Brand New Germany“ the country received the chance to present itself at the most important design- and brand-platform in the Asian area as country of innovative design and attractive brands. „Germany’s image in Asia is affected by solidity and quality of the products“, says Andrej Kupetz, chief executive of Rat der Formgebung. „BODW provides the opportunity to present design, lifestyle and creativity ‘Made in Germany’ and the opportunity for Germany to rejuvenate its image, its brands and products in this area.“

We are happy that one of our design products, chair series Qivi for manufacturer Steelcase, has been selected and presented.
