The exhibition takes place from 14 to 18 May at „City of Design“ in Shenzen. As German Design Spirit – Best of Bavaria is designed as a touring exhibition, it will be present in many more Chinese cities until september 2015. Bavarian design products and projects will be presented. The different exhibits will be divided into four categories: „Design is Innovation“, „Design is Culture“, „Design is Dialogue“ and „Design is Attitude“. The special topic area „Design is Innovation“ sets the focus on trendsetting developments. Because only by combining innovation, technology and design you can create sustainable solutions, that survive on the market. The exhibits of the area „Design is Culture“ sharpen the vision on the surrounding world, take old habits and question them in order to develop new solutions. „Design is Dialogue“ shows, how design conveys between customer and company with different means of communication in a relationship that becomes more and more global. The fourth part of the exhibition, „Design is Attitude“ shows how designers express their attitude: they experiment with materials and shapes, they anticipate trends and tendencies and are important impulse transmitters for the industry.
