Carrystar – Baby carrier for Amazonas
A baby carrying system created in cooperation with carrying experts and ergonomists.
This project started with an innovation workshop, that enabled generating innovative and promising approaches within a short time period.
We selected and realized the most interesting features:
Due to the ergonomic „grow & go“ system Carrystar can be adapted to the size of the baby in five ergonomical gradations. The system guarantees the important squat-spread posture that is important for the development of a healthy rounded back.
The flexibly adjustable and fixable head-rest offers optimal protection and halt for the baby’s head.
Individually adjustable belts as well as a buckle system offer an ideal shifting of weight towards the hips of the baby. The system thus prevents from back ache and hardening of the muscles.
Further unique features are: an integrated dodger, a size-adjustable hood, two removable bibs, two removable shoulder-belt-pads and a practical stowage bag.
